This beautiful antique Copeland Spode
whiskey or wine decanter is from my
grandmother's estate. It is a gorgeous
piece commemorating the coronation of
King George V and Queen Mary in
1911. You will find this piece identified
and valued in "Collector's Encyclopedia
of English China" by Mary Frank
Gaston. Although the decanter in the
book is a dark green color, this is a
glazed deep blue piece.
The decanter is in perfect condition,
taken care of) other than the cork part
and I can find no flaws (it was well of
the crown top is quite dry due to age.
The decanter measures approximately
10 ¼ inches high. The diameter of the
bottom is approximately 4 ¼ inches
across.
